Lactobacillus paracasei

Strain: Lactobacillus paracasei Concentration: 10⁸–10¹⁰ CFU Property: Lactobacillus paracasei (L. paracasei) is a microflora, bacteria commonly found in gastrointestinal tract and tonsils (Salminen et al., 1996 and Batu, E. D. et al., 2022). Consuming 10¹⁰ CFU of L. paracasei for a duration of 4 weeks helps balance the intestinal microbiota and reduces fecal Escherichia coli (Zhang, et al., 2013). Furthermore, there are reports of L. paracasei's ability to balance the microbiota in the tonsils, reducing symptoms of PFAPA syndrome and assisting in regulating the body's immune response (Håkansson, Å. et al., 2019 and Fernández, et al., 2016). Supplementation with L. paracasei HII01 for 12 weeks in patients with type 2 diabetes can improve blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation, and balance the gut microbiota, which may reduce endotoxemia and promote metabolic health, thus having potential as an adjuvant therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes (Toejing et al., 2021).
